Global warming increases the necessity for innovative Structural Waterproofing

ICARUS (Irish Climate Analysis and Research Units) expects our precipitation levels to increase in the future as a result of warmer temperatures that enable more water vapour to be held and ultimately released from the air. This coupled with increasing global sea levels means that our structures will face increased challenges from water ingress in the future.

IBC Limited, an Irish Company with more than 30 years experience supplying high quality chemical solutions to the construction industry, have recently formed a strategic partnership with BPA GmbH, a global leader in Bentonite and Re-Injectable Structural Waterproofing systems.

Together our innovative ideas are leading the way in the future of waterproofing, rehabilitation and renovation technique. Our vast product range covers a wide range of applications that are supported by continuous improvement in product development and design.

Our cutting edge waterproofing systems include Bentonite geo-composite clay liners, patented rain protected waterstops, re-injectable hose systems and the revolutionary CEMflex VB steel plate waterstop that is coated on both sides with a special patented crystallization admixture.

We offer full specification and technical support to engineers, contractors and clients with product warranties extending up to fifty years. By using our design-by-function and application approach it enables us to satisfy even your most challenging project objectives.

The ease of application of the CEMtobent® bentonite geo-composite membranes has enabled its use to successfully waterproof tunnels, basements, car parks, roof gardens and water-retaining structures around the world, even in extreme climatic conditions.

The addition of these Bentonite based and Re-Injectable systems from BPA to IBC’s high quality cementitious, bituminous and PU based Structural Waterproofing product range reinforces IBC’s holistic approach to offering total structural waterproofing solutions to cater for all project requirements.

Should you require any information for your next waterproofing project please email your enquiry to info@ibcltd.net
